Не берусь давать советы, лишь поделюсь двумя вещам: своим резюме, которое по заверениям агентов и работодателей, что называется, работает и ссылкой на полезный сайт с кучей релевантной информации по теме.

Моё резюме

Когда я вернулся из полугодовой поездки по Азии в конце ноября 2008 года, оказалось, что в мире и в Новой Зеландии бушует экономический кризис. Нужно было искать работу. Для этого нужно было состряпать веб-портфолио и написать резюме.

За несколько дней слепил: kulesh.co.nz и закатал туда CV (резюме) в нескольких форматах. Отрадно, что он до сих пор функционирует, хоть и рухлядь порядочная.

И сайт-портфолио, и моя трудовая история отлично справились с задачей: работодатели и рекрутёры звали на собеседования по несколько раз в неделю, несмотря на праздники. Справедливости ради стоит заметить, что потребовалось целых три месяца болтовни и тестовых заданий, чтобы найти сбалансированное решение с точки зрения денег (много просил, если по-простому).

Я не лицензированный переводчик с русского на английский и не очень писатель. Ни в коем случае не берусь утверждать, что текст в резюме идеальный. Важно, что я знаю: такая структура резюме здесь работает. Учитывая, что скорее всего больше никогда на работу устраиваться не придётся, выкладываю документы в виде методического пособия, если угодно. Может кому будет полезно.

Полезная ссылка, как обещал

Профессиональный стриптиз выше я считаю достаточным с точки зрения помощи. К сожалению, мне скорее всего будет некогда разбираться в чужой ситуации и отвечать на вопросы о том, как кому-то ещё лучше всего поступить с составление резюме. Однако, чтобы не оставлять соискателей в информационном вакууме, дам ссылку на проверенный сервис по составлению англоязычных резюме: cvworks.ru – резюме, которые работают.

Там не быстро, но качественно. Кроме того куча бесплатной информации в виде шаблонов, примеров CV и советов по поиску работы. С одной стороны это как бы реклама, с другой я пытаюсь отскочить от времяёмких писем с вопросами, прошу понять.
